Brian Baillie has more than 35 years experience as a specialist commercial and civil litigator with a legal practice extending to defamation, administrative, town planning and environmental law. He has acted for major insurance companies, as both solicitor and barrister, in Australia, and for plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of causes of action. Brian has conducted as advocate numerous trials, appeals and contested interlocutory applications both in Australia and Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, Brian has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in major litigation, often involving cross-border or international elements. Brian is also a panel solicitor for the Law Society’s professional indemnity insurer and has been an honorary legal adviser to the Office of the Ombudsman, Hong Kong since 1993.
