Goal

Since the establishment of our firm in 1981 our steady expansion has taken us into Mainland China and Japan. We have a liaison office in Tokyo. Our size gives us the depth to competently handle substantial and complex matters without communication and bureaucratic hindrances. Our principal task is to assist our clients to achieve their goals.

Mission

We emphasize teamwork. We actively encourage interaction between our lawyers to ensure that each lawyer is aware of and responsive to the firm’s actions and the client’s needs. This constant communication enables the firm to offer prompt, cost-effective, innovative and practical solutions to resolve our client’s challenges.

Professional

We advise on the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Most of our lawyers are fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese in addition to English. We also maintain a strong Japanese practice serving our Japanese clients both in Japan, Hong Kong and Mainland China through our Japanese partner and staff.

Since October 2014, we formed an association with Tsun & Partners Law Firm.

Recently, Mr. Tsun Kok Chung, Richard has joined our firm as Partner. We provide, through this arrangement, legal advice to clients interested in making initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr. Tsun also has extensive experience in corporate law, securities, corporate bonds, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt restructuring, project financing, international direct investment, private equity funds, venture capital funds and securities litigation.

Since January 2018, we also established an association with Guangdong Sincere Partners & Attorneys.

We assist clients in Mainland China and Hong Kong in handling cross-border legal services, taking into account the differences in the legal systems between Hong Kong and the Mainland. The two teams cooperated in a seamless manner, providing one-stop and comprehensive legal services for many state-owned enterprises, private businesses and individuals.
