Carol, LUI Kit Fong – Senior Consultant

Carol’s practice focuses on litigation involving medical negligence claims, professional negligence claims, insolvency matters, commercial and real property disputes. Carol received her training in our firm from 1991 to 1993. After having worked as an associate solicitor in our firm for several years, she then worked in an international law firm from 1997 to 2007. In 2007, she re-joined us as a consultant.

Carol has been a panel solicitor of the Hong Kong Law Society’s Professional Indemnity Scheme. In 2023 she has been appointed as a panel member of the Securities and Future Appeals Tribunal by HKSAR government.

Before joining private practice, Carol had worked as a Judge’s Clerk in the Judiciary and as a Court Prosecutor in the Department of Justice of Hong Kong.

In this role, we represent insurers and the insured in professional negligence claims brought by the ex-clients of the insured. Our insurance team is led by our partner Mr. Edward Tse, our senior consultant Mr. Brian Baillie, and assisted by our associates, Ms. Laura Chien and Ms. Sheryl Shing.
