Timothy, CHEUNG Tak Keung – Senior Consultant

Timothy is in charge of the firm’s intellectual property practice and employment practices. His intellectual property practice includes registration, assignment and renewal of trade marks and designs in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions and post registration matters. He acts for clients in negotiating and drafting of trade mark license agreements and franchising agreements and advising on copyright and other intellectual property issues in commercial transactions.

Timothy also handles wide-ranging employment-related matters which cover drafting and advising on employment contracts, executive service contracts, employee handbooks, disciplinary and termination procedures. He also drafts documents for summary dismissal, termination, suspension and other disciplinary actions, also handles labour tribunal claims. He also has experience in preparing policy statements in compliance with various Codes of Practice issued by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and Equal Opportunities Commission.
